We were in the area from queens and decided to stop at this bakery. By the time we got there it was only 10min before closing and were expecting very rude service and dirty looks. To our surprise it was quite the opposite! Fernando (I think that’s what his name was) and his team were so friendly and welcoming they didn’t even care we came close to the end. He was very professional and gave us good recommendations on popular items. All I can say is wow! Everything we tried was so good and fresh! He even threw in a few extra items for us to try. It’s definitely with the stop especially if you’re in the mood for freshly baked good and delicious bread! Pretzel croissant is a delight and their coffee was hot (not warm like most places) which is always a plus for me!

Moved to this area recently and was ISO real sticky buns - not cinnamon rolls- for Christmas Brunch and The Kneaded Bread knocked it out of the park. Wow. Ordered the sticky buns, challah bread, apple pie and stollen bread and my family was beyond impressed. The sticky buns are bready, just enough cinnamon layered perfectly balanced gooey pecan topped yumminess deserving front cover of Bon Appétit. Everyone at the bakery is friendly, helpful and kind and welcome you like an old friend.
We just turned the corner and get in, and we didn't know it will be our favorite place. Wonderful croissants and muffins and excellent bread of all kinds. Highly recommended the almond croissant and banana muffin. Nice and friendly people, and kindness we had a great time, thank you ♥️

I love this place! For at least 20 years Ive made the trip! 90 miles from home and worth every mile. The breads are incredible! Great coffee, pastries and sandwiches too. To top it off are the fantastic employees. Keep up the great work!
Love this place. If I could rate it 6 stars I would. Service is a bit slow sometimes but they really try to help every person coming in. My only real complaint is customer etiquette at times. For some reason people think it’s okay to reach behind the glass, breathe over the pastry display, and physically touch pastries. Need to enable the kind folks working here to tell them to not do that!

Bread and pastries are made in house, and you can taste the quality. Soups and sandwiches also available. Thank you Fernando and team for the warm welcome!
The Kneaded Dough in Port Chester is fantastic! Their bread is always fresh and flavorful, with so many great options to choose from. The pies are incredible — perfectly flaky crusts and delicious fillings that taste homemade in the best way. They’ve also got plenty of pastries (like the almond croissant!!!🥐) that make it hard to walk out with just one. The location is super convenient too, which makes stopping by way too easy. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area for fresh, quality baked goods.
